Beyond Esotico Miami: Kaona Room and Daniele Dalla Pola’s cocktail and rum adventures
The tropical drinks world became a less exciting and flamboyant place earlier this month when Italian master mixologist Daniele Dalla Pola closed up shop at Esotico Miami after nearly 5 years of crowd-pleasing cocktails and cuisine.

Exceptional Rum Collaboration
The Heritage Blend is a tribute to the three rum traditions of the Caribbean basin, incorporating rum, rhum, and ron. It's made with aged pot and column distillates from molasses and cane juice, and has notes of vanilla custard, dried fruit, citrus, oak, and baking spice. The rum can be used in classic and tiki cocktails, or sipped on its own.
The label design for the Esotico Edition is a collaboration with Daniele Dalla Pola, a bartender and restaurateur from Miami, and his restaurant Esotico. The design pays homage to vintage travel posters and the excitement of travel.

Over the years, the professional growth of the team led by Daniele Dalla Pola allowed for greater specialization and the NU LOUNGE BAR embraced the TIKI culture, becoming one of the most important TIKI BAR in the world.
If you have a soft spot for tiki bars, then Nu Lounge is an excellent example. Hidden away within a classic Italian arcade, it offers all of the greatest hits of tiki, some with a little twist. There's also an array of fancy garnishes and the team makes the most of an impressively large collection of ceramic tiki mugs. Come expecting the big show, with fire, dry ice and the like – alongside some more unexpected offerings.
